OUR FOUNDERS

The White Buffalo Society came into existence thanks to two men, D. Frank Davison and Jim Mullins.

Frank and Terri Davison
These Men along with their wives, Terri and Libby, wanted to create a local organization that would not only host Pow Wow's, but also to teach both children and adults that want to learn Native American histories and customs.

Jim Mullins
They discussed this idea with some other friends, who approved. Together these founders wrote what are now our Bylaws, and the White Buffalo Society was born.
Our Founders are: Frank and Terri Davison, Jim and Libby Mullins, Scenoral Steel, Jim and Bev Fisher, and Jack and Rebecca Devers.

Sadly, shortly after the Society was formed, we lost Frank due to heart failure, and not long afterward, Scenoral Steel.

Eventually, Jim and Libby left as well, for personal reasons. Those of us who remain strive to achieve the goals that our original founders believed so strangely in.
Together, we ARE The White Buffalo Society.

The above photo was taken in December of 2003. There have been many changes since then, both good and bad, but with each passing year we continue to grow bigger and stronger.
